Chapter 1: Memory bank Records

 

.icf file encoding

 

 

The .icf file is kept in hex dump format. Each line is a maximum of 16 bytes long. below is the break down of he fields followed by the deatils of each field. The first few memory locations in the file hold bank “A” they look as follows.

The channel skip is not stored with the frequency instead its stored 1 bit per channel starting at 1F10. channels 1-8 are in byte 1, 9-17 in byte 2. Each byte has the flags going going from LSB to MSB. 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1,  16 15 14 13 12 11 10 9, etc
