I have been doing observational astronomy for a while and recently considered to move seriously into CCD astrophotography. These are some samples of the my first attempts to image the cosmos using a homemade CookBook 245 CCD astronomical camera a home modified Phillips Toucam Pro SC1 for deep space and a standard CCD camera (Olympus C-2020) for planetary imaging. All objects were imaged in light polluted suburban skies from New Jersey, USA and Las Rozas, Madrid, Spain.
