I'm glad you had a chance to stop by.....
My name is Joseph Gearhart. I currently live in the
village of Sloan, NY., which is very near Buffalo, NY.
I'm originally from the town of Bluefield, Va. I have
only been active in Amateur Radio since the summer of
2000 and have found it a very enjoyable and relaxing
hobby. As a teenager I once seen a Ham Radio at the
home of a friend and have longed for one all these years.
Now that all the children have grown and moved out I took
full advantage of the empty room they left behind. I filled
it with a desk, chair and a radio. Got to it before the
XYL had a chance, HI HI. I hope to catch you on the
bands sometime in either CW or VOICE. My FIST isn't very
fast yet, but I have been practicing and I'm getting better.
