It isn't much. Just a Kenwood TS-830S in a corner of the room. I'm using an Athlon 750 that I built myself interfaced to the Kenwood for SSTV and PSK-31. I use a Radio Shack HTX-202 into a RF Concepts linear into a home built cubical Quad antenna for 2 meter. The Quad turns on an old channel master rotator I got at a yard sale. I've worked Long island, Northern Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Albany, Connecticut, Arkville, on 2 meter with this setup. The whole thing runs off of a 12 volt battery charged by a solar panel. Even the rotator works off of an inverter. The Kenwood and PC are both connected to the power grid. Maybe someday if I can get some more solar panels and a better battery I'll run them off grid too.
