I received my Tech Plus license on March 22, 1999. I use the YAESU VX-5R. I enjoy using the HT wherever I go. The whole communications industry is challenging to understand the different technology and how it's progressing. Amateur Radio is an exciting part of the communications spectrum. I am fortunate to have many friends in Northern Colorado to help me understand the uses of the Amateur Radio frequencies.

In January of 2001, I upgraded to a general license at which point my call sign switched from kc0fgv to kc0jnn.
