Well...... Let's start at the beginning. If you have a Amateur License, you probably need a radio to actually do the thing that we do (whatever it may be). A while back I got my license (hence the kc0fwd) and decided that I needed a radio. Since I'm only 14 and don't have a car, I decided to get a handheld. I saved my pennies and ended up with this little baby:
