(46 KB)This picture is of my station. The metal box on the bottom left is the antenna tuner that a friend (N0EG) made for me. The green box on top of it is my Heathkit SWR/Power meter. The radio in the middle is a Kenwood TS-820S in perfect condition. On top of it are its external VFO and speaker. To the right of the Kenwood are my paddles, my straight key, and my keyer.

My Hammarlund HQ-129-X is in almost perfect working condition. With a simple antenna, I can hear stations all over the world. I have listened to soccer on the BBC and many other radio shows. The Hammarlund works as well (if not better) than most modern shortwave radios.
