Above Is A Picture Of The Operating Position In My Radio Room.From Here I Can Reach The Antenna Switches Which Are On The Side Panels Of The Enclosure.The ameco AC-1(top left) Was My 1st Transmitter And I built It From Kit Form In 1958.The Hallicrafters SX-110 Was Bought New The Same Year.Xmit/recv Relay Was 120 vac Dow Key.The Icom 756 Pro2 Was Bought In 2003 With The SM-20 Desk Microphone &  SP-20 Matching Console  Speaker.The Yaesu FT-847 Was Bought In 2000 Along With The MD-100 Microphone & SP-8 Speaker.For VHF/UHF Metering I Have The Yaesu YS-500.My cobra 2000  Was Bought In 1989 & I Have A D-104 Mic On It.The Rotor Is A Yaesu G-450A Turning A Cushcraft A4496S 6 Element Beam.The Amp Is An Ameritron AL-80B.In The Lower Right Hand Corner Is The Tripp-lite ``ISOBAR`` Isolated Bank EMI/RFI Filter Network.Above That Is The Mountain West Radio`` RIGBLASTER`` Computer Radio Interface Conected To The FT-847 For Digital Work Such As Rtty,Psk,Sstv,Packet,Etc.I Use An LDG AT-11MP Autotuner With The 847.I Use This Setup Along With Echolink & Set My FT-847 To Crossband From Uhf To Vhf & Use The TH-F6A To Transmit On Uhf & Receive Vhf,This Allows Me To Roam Around With The HT And Have A Big Signal From 50 mw Or From The Mobil & Anyone On Echolink Can Contact Me Also.It Doesnt Get Any Better Than This Gentlemen.For 220 Mhz I Have An ADI AR-247 & Cushcraft ARX220B Base Antenna.At The top Of The Picture On The Right Is The MFJ-4035MV 35 Amp Power Supply & Mirage B2518G 2 Meter Amp(160 Watts).The 144 & 440 Outputs Are Run Into A 200 Watt Duplexer and Then To A Daiwa CS-201 Antenna Switch.On The Left Side Is Another Diawa CS-201 To Switch The 6 Meter Antenna Between The FT-847 & The Icom 756Pro2.To The Far Right Is My Vibroplex Code Warrior Jr,The Tension on This Key Is Magnetic,NO SPRINGS.Under That Is My MFJ-564 Iambic Key & my bencher BY-1.For HF Antenna Switching I Use An MFJ-1700b Dual Switch, 6 Positions On Each Switch With Amp & Tuner Between Them.The Main Antenna For Vhf/Uhf Is A Diamond X510MA At 40 Feet.II Also Have A Winradio WR-1550e Computer Controled Receiver(100 khz-1500 mhz) Allmode.My Main Tuner Is An MFJ-989-C With Which I Have Had NO Problem Running 1KW ssb & 500 Watts(pep) On AM.Scanners Are As Follows,Radio Shack Pro 2052,28 & 38,Uniden 855XLT(unblocked).The Mobil Rig Is A Yaesu FT-7100 Which Has Dual Receive.The HT`s  Are A Yaesu FT-50rd/41b And Kenwood TH-F6A.The Main Station Power Supply Is The Yaesu FP-1030,With An Astron RS-35A For Backup.For Emergency Power I Have A Generator In The Garage With A Homebrew emi/rfi Filter At The Generator.ANTENNAS  For HF, Homebrew 1/2 Wave Dipoles For75/80,20,40,15, An Antron A-99 Verticle At 30 Feet With The Gpk/1 Radial Kit Installed Which By The Way Works Very Nice On 15,12,11,& 10 Meters.For 6 Meters I Have A Cushcraft AR-6 At 20 Feet.I Also Have A B&W Folded Dipole Which I Use For All Band Coverage And Short Wave Listening Where The Other Antennas Just Dont Work Well.There Are Many Amatuers That Simply Dont Understand The Importance Of Proper Grounding,Not Only Is It Important For Protection From Lightning And To Drain Static Buildup, On Hf Its Part Of the Antenna System.Here At My Station I Have A 12``x1`` Piece Of Copper Tubing With Automotive Hose Clamps For Holding The Ground Wires In Place From Every Piece Of Equipment.From There I have Battery Cable Going To A Cold Water Pipe,Then Solid Very Heavy Copper To An 8 Foot Ground Rod.From There I Have Buried Service Entrance Cable To 900 Feet Of Chain Link Fence.I Enjoy Contesting On All Bands & All Modes And Use The Heil Proset Plus & The FS2 Foot Switch.For Logging I Use AC Log and N3fjp`s contest  logs.
