We are running a pair of water cooled 2C39BA getting 400 WATTS
with 15 watts of drive. I have done a bit of testing with other tubes 3CX100
And found a better out put with same input

This is the
amp, not the best looking, but it works well. I have run the input up to 18 watts and got 475 out. Any more than that and it tends to heat up and arc . |
The tube fingers are hard to make. And finding them is harder yet. I found that Fair Radio was selling converters (AM-1957) that use 3 2C39 tubes With shipping $60.00 Comes with 6 volt P/S |

fuel pump for the water cooling Thay can be run air cooled with less out put. |
