I have done a quick survey of dPMR and compared it with NXDN and cannot see how any dPMR could pass through my NXDN implementation. There are three parameters that are the same, but in all other respects they are completely incompatible, and those items that are the same would not result in any compatibility. dPMR is not a bad protocol, at least in the full licenced version, but not having a radio for it, it would be a tough one to develop for. I could leverage my work on NXDN for it, and probably get an RF only version running within a week or so. I’m including my notes below so people can see a first cut of my comparison.
