147.075 Mhz

Thanks for taking a moment and checking out my repeater page. Ever since I was licensed as an amateur radio operator in 1995 I have had in interest in FM communications. The first time I talked on a repeater I was hooked. I went from noisy CB coverage across town to clear communications through out the county and beyond.

After several years I decided that I wanted to build a repeater of my own. After many hours of work and with the help of a good friend the 075 was born. The KB8ZXE repeater is located in Wakefield Michigan and is cordinated by the UPARRA.

Here is some of the equipment I used to build my repeater

• receiver -Motorola Maxtrac
• transmitter - Motorola Maxtrac 45 watt running 15 watts
• controller -Cat-200
• duplexer -Wacom four cavity BP/BR
• power supply -Radio Shack 10 amp (getting upgraded soon)
• antenna -Hustler G-7
• feed line -Belden 9913-F7
• voIP controller -West Mountain Radio Rig Blaster Nomic
