The KB7PLW REPEATER SYSTEM
Operates on 440.525MHz with a 100Hz pl. Tone.
Serving the Citizens and
the Cities of Kirkland and Seattle.
A little history:
The KB7PLW repeater system is owned and operated
by: Floyd Lee Standifer III.... KB7PLW... The KB7PLW repeater is a R.C.A.
Tek-100 UHF radio in a repeater configuration. The repeater runs 175 watts
out at the antenna connection , and with a 11db gain antenna the repeater
will have a E.R.P. of over 600 watts. The repeater is housed on Seattle's
Capitol Hill and serves the City of Kirkland and the City of Seattle. I
have teamed up with Ivory Jackson... N7CHN... and linked my repeater system
to his repeater to cover more area, as well as the both of us want to use
our repeaters to help futher this great hobby of ours and help with providing
more frequencies in time of emergencies. It is our intension to provide
a clear frequency for Ham operators using the system, as this is a short
contact, short QSO repeater system it is recommended that you make your
contact then move to a repeater that provides long QSO's. I hope you enjoy
using this web page. Please feel free to leave E-Mail for me or leave your
comments on this web page.
Special Announcments:
As we all know December 25th 1998 is Christmas
Day. This is the time of year when people from all walks of life enjoy
watching the children open their presents on Christmas morning. We the
adults have as much fun watching as the children do in recieving their
gifts. With this in mind I want to wish all of you a very merry christmas
and soon a Happy New Year. Enjoy... Floyd Lee Standifer III.... KB7PLW...

Repeater News:
The repeater is down for repairs and I am
waiting for new Crystals and a new set of duplexers to come in before the
repeater can go back on the air to continue testing and working all the
bugs out of the system. I hope to finish the testing so I can have the
repeater in the official testing stage, and then officially on the air
ready for use. Have patience as the repeater will be up and running soon...
Thankyou... Floyd... KB7PLW...
