Welcome to my Ham Radio Site!!

I was first (and still am) licensced as KB7OZT in June of 1992.  I didn't do very much with Ham radio after recieving my license except for chatting on the 2m.  Before I left for Italy I took the General test and passed.  After I got here I bought a Kenwood TS-440 and haven't looked back! I now operate as IV3/KB7OZT.  My current set up now consits of:

Kenwood TS-440AT / MC-60 desk mic / Bencher BY-2 paddles

5 Band "double diopole"

10m-80m off center fed diopole

Alinco DR-150 with Kantronic KPC 3+ for cluster with small diopole

Yaseu FT-2500 2m for voice with ECO vertical

Astron power supply.

I'm pretty happy with what I have.  I use Log Windows on my Fujitsu lap-top.   I also use the lap-top for  PSK-31, and SSTV.  I have the software also for RTTY and am learning how that works now.  I'm also active of course in SSB and have been looking for contacts on 10m FM but haven't worked anything yet.  I'm working on the CW.  I have a great desire to build my own QRP CW rig so I'm determined to learn CW, unfortunately it often takes a back seat to my Bachelors degree, but I will get it!!
