Tuesday Night Net Control Guide
Start your net on time, if you are late people will think the net is called off.
Try to be on frequency at least 10 minutes early to secure the frequency for the net.
Make sure to I.D. yourself and the net every 10 minutes per FCC regulations (example: This is kc5xyz and the HAM Association Tuesday night net.)
Find out if your net is on a RACES net night, we share the frequency with RACES but they have priority use of the frequency.
The net may run as long as it needs to finish all net business on none Races nights.
Maintain control of the net, do not let it deteriorate into a rag chew ( you only have 30 minutes on a RACES night)
If you will not be able to make your scheduled net Please contact one of the following so we can get it covered:
Richard Bailey, KB5JBV, Tuesday Night Net Coordinator
Bob Langley, KC5JTF, Asst. Tuesday Night Net Coordinator
Benny Stafford, K5BRS, Backup NCS
Jeff Secules, KC5EWI, Backup NCS
I am keeping records of the net at this time so please with these stats so I can get them from you.
