Florida Keys Amateur Radio Club
Annual Fox Hunt/Triple Fest
March 9, 2002

The group of potential hunters gathered outside of the Blue Heron Park to adjust
their radio equipment and antenna in hopes of obtaining the distinguished honor
of
NUMBER 1 FOX HUNTER TEAM
With their radio in hand and a driver behind the wheel of each vehicle they
proceeded on their jaunt to locate the elusive FOX.
TEAMS
NICKLESS & NICKLESS
BEILMANN & CLEMENTS
BEAVER & KING & HORAN
WYATT

Team Beilmann and Clements were the first to arrive in the general area but were
still quite baffled by this creature in hiding and Team Nickless and Nickless
were close behind. Nickless and Nickless took the initiative and sprung with the
first question. ‘Do you have someone hiding in that bread truck?’ That question
might seem harmless enough, buuut when you look at the guy talking to you
through the back doors of the truck and beyond him you see a SHERIFF VEHICLE,
well_____. They don’t find the fox there but he’s here somewhere pretty close.
Boy I bet you could almost smell him. Who needs a little Claritin for their
plugged up nose?
I can smell him!!!
I can smell him too; I just can’t see him!!!

AND THEN FROM AN INNOCENT GROCERY STORE EMPLOYEE

What are you looking for? A HIDDEN TRANSMITTER, WHY?
Oh, I saw a couple of guys hide it in that tree over there. WHAT TREE?
HEY
I think she just told them it’s in that tree. Hurry let’s get there first. Darn,
we’re too late, but wait, maybe we still can be first, yea; we didn’t drive as
far as they did.

I wonder where the other guys went.
Me too.

Maybe we’d better give out clues more often cause I’m getting hungry. Yea, me
too.

Here--- you give out the next ones. You can be really long winded.
Okay--- you asked for it.
All right---here they come.
Wait------they’re going the wrong way.
Get on that radio again and this time make it really good.

Well----You get the idea.
We really had a great time polishing up on our skills.
And polishing, and polishing, and polishing

Hope to see many more of you next time.

Oh; by the way; the winners are

Beilmann and Clements

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
