to order at 7:35 pm by President Tom Beilmann.

Minutes
from the March meeting approved as read and a report of no formal meeting in
April.
·
Treasurer
report of $399.26 + $20.00 cash.
·
Tom
commented on the success of the Triple Fest-Fox Hunt. A great time was has by
all 28 attending with 4 teams participating in the hunt.

Rick
informed the group that George has been working on the problems being
encountered on 442.4 and that currently the pl has been changed to see if that
helps as no other reason for the problem has been found.

Tom
reported that the towers in Key Largo and West Summerland may be well on their
way of rebuilding by the end of June.
·
Tom
presented the idea of some informal-impromptu fox hunts to be held during the
summer months in anticipation of inviting the scouts during the fall.
·
Bill
reported that there were 15 hams participating in communications for the 7-mile
bridge run this year. There were 2 persons that required medical attention and
follow-up however both are doing well.
·
Field
Day- Both clubs will be involved but this year will be smaller than normal due
to more than usual being out of town this year. The main modes of operation
will be digital and possibly operating a GOTA station which is a new item this
year.

Liz
at Blue Heron Park will need to be contacted for a letter of their approval in
order to put it through the county.
·
Bill
Marsh reported that testing was held on 4-13 gaining 3 general licensees and
4-27 with 1 person passing the tech test and code.
·
Wayne
Presnell will be leaving the Weather Bureau in Key West and Jim Edds will be replacing
him in the Skywarn Program.
·
Some
equipment was discussed for Field Day.
