My commute

Every day I wake up at approximately 5:00AM. Just because I said that I wake up at 5:00AM doesn't mean that I get up on that time. After slamming the snooze two times I get up at 5:30AM to take a shower. I would like to say that I get up earlier and jog but that just doesn't happen. Every night is the same constantly waking up thinking that I'm late for work.

I work on the campus of NIH in Bethesda MD. (picture seen below)

I live close to the capital of Maryland so, every morning I have to travel route 50 west with no traffic, then to the capital beltway Also no traffic. The worst part of traffic is the 270 split and the 95 split. Here are some pics I have taken going to Work in the morning.

On the way home from NIH is by far the worst the beltway has to offer. Below is a picture on the way back home. I forget exactly which exit it is close to but traffic is at a complete stop for miles. If there is moving it's only at 15 MPH max. for me the beltway torture starts on route 355 Wisconsin avenue on 5:00 o'clock PM all the way to the 95/495 joining. If it rains or snows walking on my hands would be faster then driving. Being a amateur radio operator has helped the commute out tremendously.
