Welcome to the official page of the South Mountain Repeater Association. The SMRA (N3TWT) is a non profit group of Hams dedicated to community service and emergency communications within Cumberland County and the surrounding area in Central Pennsylvania. We operate and maintain repeaters and packet nodes and support the Cumberland County Office of Emergency Preparedness and the Cumberland County Chapter of the American Red Cross as a source of onsite communications in the event of an emergency. We participate in emergency drills for Three Mile Island and provide the community with communications for bicycle races, parades and other events. Please browse our site and find out more about us or if you are interested in ham radio, please check out either of these great links "the QRZ page" or the "ARRL" page. Or, feel free to email us and we will do our very best to answer any questions you have.

We would also like to extend an invitation to you to attend one of our monthly meetings held at the Cumberland County Office of Emergency Preparedness which is located in the basement of the Cumberland County Prison. Our meetings occur on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 P.M. Not sure of how to get to the OEP, just give a shout on one of our repeaters--the 145.270 or the 145.430 and someone will talk you in.
