Ham Radio in Equatorial Guinea
For me, ham radio is 6 metres. I am biased. I am not interested in HF and the crowds and the QRM. Even on 6m, the QRM can be so bad at times that 100 stations in a 10 KHz bandwidth sounds just like white noise!!
6m stuff:
Local TV on 48.250MHz Really, no-one here should be operational on 6m, for 2 reasons. Firstly, the TVI is unavoidable. Secondly, the TV causes so much hash on 6m, it is very difficult to operate!!
Noise Cancellation is a must for 6m here. This is how I do it!
General:
Getting a license (Good Luck!!)
Is there a good hotel to operate from?
Me:
Eme my next challenge???. Here were some of my plans...
