Where to stay in Malabo?
The Bahia hotel has been recently renovated and has quality rooms which are airconditioned and reliable water and electricity. This is the hotel where Frederick Forsythe was supposed to have written his book "The Dogs of War"
The manager is OK about hams operating providing they have a license. The hotel has a beautiful view and a good takeoff to the north (actually NE to NW). Access to the roof is easy with permission from the manager.
The telephone is 240.9.0648 and the fax number 240.9.0649. Room rates are currently FCFAs50,000 per night (about $US65)
