Equatorial Guinea is NOT a magic place for 6m propagation. It is a few degrees only above the equator, so all TE (Transequatorial ) propagation is out of the question.

But it is rare DX!

There are paths open quite often to Europe on the north-south path. In August to November, there are normally openings to PY and often extremely strong. Here are some of the trends that I have tabulated showing how propagation may change during the year. Propagation in 1998

Vertical polarization was used in an attempt to minimise the TV hash generated by the local TV on 48.2504 (horizontally polarised).
