About Me

Hi! I am currently liscensed as KB1JBK, with a Technician class ticket. I use a Radio Shack HTX-202 HT into an indoor copper J-pole. I work the local 2-meter repeaters because I dont have any other radio :D I am also currently studying for my General class liscense, and have two test sites set up for this month. The written is no problem, and the code should not be hard. I'm using a CW program by G4FON to study.

The good part about the first test is that it is at a flea market, and I hope to pick up an HF rig while I am there. More information to come.

3/16/03 - Update: Sorry for not getting updating the page very recently! I did not get a radio from that flea. But at a recent club meeting, KB1HLZ (now K1SQ) and KB1BKK gave me a Heath xmit/xcver pair. I hope to use these when the time comes. Related to that, I started in a General liscense class with WA1JXR, and at the end, there will be a VE session where I can finally get my General, and maybe if I'm lucky, the Extra.

Risk

More information about this game can be found here. Thanks to Leo Laporte, Patrick Norton, Morgan Webb, Megan Morrone, and my favorite, Martin Sergeant of TechTV's 'The Screen Savers' for being so power-hungry :) Without their talking about it on the show, and being such avid participants in the game, I never would have known about it. They also have a lot of cool stuff at their website, http://www.thescreensavers.com .

Instructions

This is a game where you click a piece of land, and for every click you make, I conquer that piece of land! Help me conquer the world! I can only do it with your help. Directions: Find a continent, then an area on that continent, and click it, the 2x2 pixel you just clicked will be claimed in the name of "qsl.net". It should show as a brown square. P.S. Don't click in the water, it does nothing.
