The meeting began at 7:35 pm. There were 20 members in attendance.
FARA Night Out was held September 11 at the Pacific Buffet. The event honored Ed Weiss W1NXC, this year's recipient of the ARRL Herb S. Brier Instructor of the Year Award. The award was presented by ARRL officials from our New England Division. Over 40 members attended and a great time was had by all.
Subhead 2Ed W1NXC is holding CW classes on Saturdays at the shack. Join in to learn the code or to increase your speed.
Technical SessionsThere is interest in Wednesday night technical sessions. If you have any ideas for topics, please pass them on to Bob Hess W1RH.
Flea MarketThe Flea Market will be held November 2 at the Walsh Middle School. Help will be needed for the event - contact Bev Lees N1LOO.
Where’s the VP?Steve Rosenthal AA1IZ is still in the Far East. He reports that he is very busy and will be returning to the area on October 20.

Upcoming meetingsThe next meeting will be "Pizza Night," our traditional way to celebrate what we expect to be another successful FARA Flea Market. The December meeting will feature a talk by Jeff Otto WA1QYW on low frequency submarine communication.
