New volunteer training: 2-3:15

BARC information meeting: 3:30-5:00

Mushers Banquet: Friday Feb. 1 at Lakeview Castle

6 pm social hour, 7 pm dinner, program at 8 pm

BARC Pre-race Meeting: Sat. Feb. 2, Buena Vista Restaurant.

6 pm dinner, 7 pm meeting.

Race start: Sun. Feb. 3: mid-distance at 1 pm, marathon at ~ 3 pm.

Start location is Ordean (same as last year, and same location at Ordean, i.e. up on the hill, not on the field)

Mid-distance finish (at Sawbill checkpoint): probably Mon. eve. Feb. 4

Mid-distance Awards Brunch: Tues. Feb. 5, 11 am, Lakeview Castle

Race finish: Approx. Wed. Feb. 6 for first finishers

Finish is in Lester Park, Duluth (like last year)

Official race cutoff time: Fri. Feb. 8, 2002, 5 pm.

Awards Banquet: Brunch Fri. Feb. 8 at 11 am at Lakeview Castle

Recreational/Citizen’s Race: Sat. Feb. 9, location Grand Marais (our help has been requested)

BARC Critique Meeting: Proposed time and date: Sat. Feb. 16, 5 or 6 pm, Buena Vista Restaurant.
