This is KBØEMB , my name is Larry, I will be acting as net control for the MESDN PSK 31 net. Any stations not wishing to participate in the net are kindly asked to QSY to another frequency, so that we may be able to conduct net business.

The purpose of this net is to encourage interest in, and to provide information about, Missouri Emergency Services. Our goal is to offer emergency communications services to public service and governmental agencies during potential and actual disasters of many kinds. The MESN meets Sunday evening at 6:15 local on a frequency of 3.963 or if propagation warrants on 7.263 You may visit the Missouri ARES website at http://www.qsl.net/ares-mo/index.htm

All amateurs are welcomed to this net. You do not have to be a member of ARES or RACES to join this net. ARES/RACES is not affiliated with any regular local club or clubs and is under the direction of the ARRL appointed Emergency Coordinator and/or RACES Radio Officer for each county.

When you check-in please type your callsign THREE times then first name and QTH, transmit during a pause of the Net. This procedure allows Net control time to 'tune' a station that may be slightly off frequency.
