Kirkland ARES is an ever evolving, dynamic group of hams serving the city of Kirkland, Washington through participation in various drills, exercises and other community activities.
Requirements are: you must be a licensed amateur radio operator in good standing, live in or near the city of Kirkland, Washington, pass a background check, and of course, be available for the various activities and duties required of the position.
Our current project calls for converting each fire station in the city, over to packet radio via the FNPack software program
