Carl's DX Kalamazoo Michigan Trip
September 4-7 2002, I took a Blacksmith class in Kalamazoo Michigan, made camp and after dinner worked 40 meters each night. I also talked with the local ham radio operators in the Kalamazoo area.
The pictures above are my campsite in Kalamazoo Michigan. I had a 40 meter dipole up in one of the pine trees. The view was great. Electrical power was from my car. There was allot of contacts from this location.
This is a group shot of the SMART group I met when I arrived in Kalamazoo. We had a net and had allot of good conversion.
