Tape Measure 2-Meter RDF Beam

This beam was developed from a design by WB2HOL and found at

  http://home.att.net/~jleggio/projects/rdf/tape_bm.htm

This beam was constructed per the instructions on WB2HOL's web site with the following exceptions:

1. The PVC was first cleaned and then glued.
2. A hole was cut into the boom near the reflector to allow the coax to be run through the boom and the handle.
3. A small piece of PVC was added to the reflector end of the boom and a 90 degree elbow and a 6-inch piece of PVC was added to act as a "pistol type" handle.
4. A 5-inch piece of 12 gauge "romex" was used for the hairpin.
5. RG-8X (mini-8) coax was used.
