3. The Free Radio Weekly - was founded in October 1995 by Chris Lobdell when Cumbre DX, an email DX newsletter headed by Hans Johnson, decided they no longer had room for pirate loggings. It was felt there was a need for a weekly email North American Free Radio Newsletter. The current staff includes Chris Lobdell as editor and Niel Wolfish as assistant editor.
