565AT Orion: The Orion was just added to my station in May of 2004. It is a great radio but Ten Tec will have to workout the firmware bugs and I am sure they will. The great thing about this radio is QSK, DSP, easy to use and the great Ten Tec service.
563 (Omni 6 plus): Another great Ten Tec rig. A little sparse compared to the Orion but it is ten years old and still a good all around solid performer.
TS-830S: This was my first "real radio" and it has been my primary radio for 20 years. The receiver is still one of the best around. A lot of people really like the audio as well. Although I really like this rig it is more of a SSB rig. Over the years I picked up the monitor scope, antenna tuner, remote VFO and external speaker to complete the station.
HW-16: I recently purchase my Novice station. The Heathkit HW-16 is a three band transciever of sorts that is crystal controled on three bands (80, 40 and 15 meters). With the matching HG-10B remote VFO the need for a crystal for each transmit frequency is gone. I also picked up a heathkit speaker. There are a lot of fond memories using this rig in the late 70's.
