KA1ZGC

3875 through 3890 kHz (KA1ZGC),

Things have gotten out of hand.

For quite some time now, one ham in Scranton, PA, has been making a serious nuisance of himself. Apart from his slanderous (and false) statements towards another ham, he has become very good at commencing operations within a few kHz of others and splattering to well over 15 kHz wide.

The problem now is the sheer number of people who attempt to defend the ham being slandered by dumping carriers over a 20 to 30 kHz wide swath around this guy, rendering the "AM Window" totally useless.

This will have the opposite of the intended effect. Rather than gather support for the ham these guys are trying to defend, they are attracting trouble for this ham.

It's too bad that a few people are so emotionally bankrupt as to spend an entire afternoon jamming this clown, and truly sad that the jammers are worse than the guy being jammed.

If you must jam some guy you have a problem with, could you please not jam everybody within 30 kHz of the guy?
