K8V QSL Card
The Mich-A-Con Amateur Radio Club will be operating from the
Upper Peninsula Veterans Memorial on Pine Mountain - Iron Mountain, Michigan
from Tuesday November 10 through Thursday November 12 using the K8V callsign .
The Memorial is located adjacent to the Giant Pine Mountain Ski Jump. We are operating
from within the "Springer-Haus". "Springer" is a European word for ski jumper.
This building
houses the waxing area and staging area for the ski tournaments. The Kiwanis Ski Club
has graciously provided the use of this building for our Special Event Operation.
