HF Mobile & ARES
I am Richard Ferguson, from Boulder, Colorado. I was first licensed in 1962.
I am active with Amateur Radio Emergency service, and have held positions such as Section Emergency Coordinator for the state of Colorado. I am currently the publisher of the amateur radio emergency plan for Colorado, the COPLAN, found on the Colorado ARES www page.
I am also active on HF mobile, and have been known to operate VHF contests from mountain tops and other places.
I have some information about suppressing noise for HF mobile installations.
I have available some information about my three antenna, nine band HF mobile installation.
I occasionally have an article published in magazines such as 73 Amateur Radio or CQ VHF.
