Radios Aloft Group: (RAG)
Is involved in putting electronic payloads into high powered rockets. The group is currently working on a project where GPS coordnaties are downlinked to a ground crew to assist in recovery.
The rocket is approximately 5 foot tall and 4 inches in diameter and should reach an altitude of nearly 10,000 ft. Launch of this project is scheduled for April 21,22 of 2001.
The group hopes to do similar projects with high altitude balloons also.
