Why make these web pages available? Well, out here in the middle of the Illinois cornfields, my QTH is not all that convenient for most folks to visit and play with the radios. And I seldom cart anything off to hamfests. While the gear sounds nice on the air, and most hams enjoy chatting about old gear, it's more fun to be able to look at some of the stuff.

So, I picked up a cheap flatbed scanner a year or two back, and started my html programming career with a text editor. I still use a text editor for most of the work! I guess that goes back to my being around during the early DOS and CP/M days when everything was done by command line.

My goals are to provide a reasonably uncluttered site that is easy to visit, has some decent photographs available, and to present various information, links and history that may be of interest to others. Please do leave me a feedback note with any comments about the site content, suggestions or critcal notes!
