• As a youngster growing up in the 50’s, I witnessed the birth of Rock ‘n Roll, a form of music not generally appreciated by the elders of the day! Pioneer rockers such as Bill Haley, Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochran, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Chuck Berry commanded my undivided attention.  Later influences included “Surf”, Motown, British invasion, and West Coast styles from the 60’s.  Throw in some blues and jazz and you know my primary musical influences.

• After working over 22 years as a full and part time professional musician playing the electric guitar in supper clubs, lounges, and banquet halls, I quit in the late 80’s in order to “get a life.”  I still play the guitar to keep up my chops, but most of my ensemble work is now done on the basses of a community steel drum band.
