Amateur Radio Software Downloads

The following programs were written by Ray Andrews, K9DUR.  They may be freely distributed for non-commercial purposes as long as no fee is charged except for the cost of the distribution media.

Digital Voice Keyer

The K9DUR Voice Keyer was specifically written to interface to PowerSDR via Virtual Audio Cable (VAC).  PowerSDR is the program used with the Flex-Radio Systems line of software-defined transceivers, and VAC is a 3rd party software driver that creates pairs of virtual audiop cables.

Although it was wirtten for PowerSDR w/VAC, VoiceKeyer.exe is a general-purpose digital voice keyer which can be used with any amateur radio transceiver by using the PC's sound card and a hardware interface to the rig.

NOTE:  This program requires the Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 which must be downloaded & installed separately.  You may download the installation package directly from Microsoft or from this website.  The file is about 23.7 Mb in size.  If you already have PowerSDR installed and working (or any other software package that requires Version 1.1 of the .NET Framework) , then you do not have to download & install it again.

If you have already installed a previous version of the program, all you need to do to upgrade to the latest version is download the SDRDataImport.exe file (about 144 kB) and copy it over top of the previous file.  Click here to download the latest program file.

NOTE:  Version 2.1 includes a fix for a bug that applies to non-US users of the program only.  Users in the US may use either Version 2.0 or Version 2.1 interchangeably.  Non-US users must download & install version 2.1 or later.
