Participation was slightly higher than the last one we did this past summer. The big thing I learned this time is not to schedule this event while Monday Night Football is on. :)
This Challenge saw the emergence of the HT/Rubber Duck category. We had several people participate in this category, but only a few actually submitted logs. The HT category can be a whole lot of fun, if you use your head and plan your operating location well. Hat's off to AB9BH for his effort.
We were weak on Rovers this time. W9ADS, we missed you! K9KUZ made a lot of Rover QSO's, but he wasn't keeping an official log. Thanks, Jim, for all the multipliers. Hopefully we will see more Rovers the next time. Also, we have yet to have an entry in the Multi-op category. This certificate is ripe for the picking, folks.
The next running of the TCARCC 2 Meter FM Challenge will be sometime around February, 2002. Thanks to all who participated.
