There are lots of awards that you can obtain for contacting DX stations. One of the most sought after is the DX Century Club (DXCC) Award. It's given by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) to any amateur for proven two way communication with amateurs in 100 recognized countries / entities of the world. Endorsements are available for additional countries, different modes and certain frequencies of operation. The ARRL does not currently offer a QRP endorsement. A DXCC type of award is also offered by CQ Magazine and QRP Amateur Radio Club International (QRP ARCI), both of which recognize QRP for award purposes.
