We are a group of amateur radio operators located in Lapeer, MI and the surrounding area interested mainly in HF/VHF contesting, dxing and operating.
The goals of this club are to pursue the above mentioned operating activities with our fellow amateurs and to help those who want to learn how to do so. WE ARE NOT A REPEATER CLUB.
There is a local dx packet cluster that several of us use on 144.97MHz with the callsign of WA8DX. Connect to it and watch all the dx spots roll by, send talk messages to us or explore all the different functions of the cluster

We are having our first meeting Oct. 7th at 7PM at Calvelli's restaurant in Lapeer. Details of the club will be worked out then.
