MARQUETTE REPEATER ASSOCICATION - ECHOLINK ON 444.800+ REPEATER

Star key- To check status
C key – To connect to node number  ( Example   C123456 )
D key – To disconnect
A or B keys - Shortcuts (  A1,B1, B2, B3 etc)

Use star key to check connect status. If you hear that it's
connected just ID and ask if it is being used. If there is no
responds then go ahead and make the connect you want, either
by using the C and node number you want if you know it or by
using A or B and number for one of the shortcuts I have put in.

To disconnect when you are done just use the D key. This will
just disconnect the last connected station. If there was another
connected before that you just use D key again and it will
disconnect that one.  D will disconnect by last repeater connected.

Remember when you connect to wait a few seconds and then ID or
make a call for someone like you would normally do on any repeater.
Also you will have to learn to leave a pause to let repeaters drop
between transmissions.

NOTE: GM4DTJ BOB IS A SINGLE USER THAT RUNS HIS CHECKIN’S
LIKE A ROUND TABLE. HE IS ON ABOUT 4PM TO 7PM OUR TIME. SCOTLAND
IS 5 HOURS AHEAD OF US.

NEW ZEALAND IS 16 HOURS AHEAD OF US. EXAMPLE WHEN IS 12AM HERE IT
IS 4PM TOMORROW AFTERNOON THERE.

Attached is updated information on the 444.800 echolink repeater.
 
Echolink has been working very well and has been very busy with
stations connecting from all over the world. I have heard a lot
of guys saying they have been listening but have not tried using
it. If you have any questions on how to use echolink please feel
free to contact me. 
 
Also, Al - W8FYZ said that the new rebuilt GE 444.800 repeater
that is to replace the old one that is there now is just about done.
