My Home Page:
Tom Isgro, K8CZ
Hello fellow Internet surfer and welcome to my home page. I'm very glad
that you made it this far . . . and I hope that you'll stick around long
enough to get to know just a little bit more about me and my life.
.
Samuel.F.B. Morse, Father of Modern Telegraphy
My Background
I was born in Southwestern Ohio, a mere 52 years ago. My wife Rita and
I have been married for 30 years and have three lovely daughters and one
adorable grandson.
I attended the University of Dayton in Dayton Ohio and graduated in
1970. Since then I have had an enjoyable career with Eastman Kodak
starting in 1972.
And, before we go any further, just in case (not that I'm looking to
get hired, but - just
in case you ARE my big break), here's my resume.

My Interests
I guess that the best - and fastest - way to really get to know me
is by discovering what I like. So here goes . . .
My hobbies are Amateur Radio, Chess online and gardening
I adore Opera - especially Italian operas.
My Favorites?
My Personal Records
Here are some of my favorite websites
Another way to really get to know someone - especially someone who spends
as much time on the Internet as I do - is to learn their favorite sites:
The American Radio Relay League represents thousands of U.S. ham operators. This is your only political power in dealing with the might of the U.S. Congress. Don't let this oportunity pass by.
CW
It is no secret among my amateur radio friends that I love to operate
CW. Here are some links to my favorite sites:
FISTS Morse Preservation Society
Morse Express
Morsum Magnificat
QRP or low power operations and CW go very well together. I have many good QRP sites.
QRP-ARCI
Northern
California QRP Club (NORCAL)
Small
Wonder Labs (great kits)
Flying
Pigs QRP Club (Cincy's answer to NORCAL , well sort of)
(I know, I know, but hey, come on - you're supposed to be having fun)
Northern Ohio
DX Association
Southwest
Ohio DX Association
