K7WV  Grayland DXpedition Results  Oct 23-24 2010
Alaska and Hawaii Stations listed below. Asians were mediocre, "Big Gun" stations only (594/747/774/828 Japan)
On the second morning (Oct 24) our antenna was wrecked by a storm so I reverted to the ALA100M for a few Hawaiians.
I missed the Oct 2009 DXpedition in which stunning conditions prevailed due to my down computer and work schedule. I was sure to attend in Oct 2010. Conditions did not come close to 2009 but 29 Alaskans ID'd on MW was a record haul for me at Grayland.
K-Index during the DXpedition weekend. Alaskans at their best Oct 23 0400-0700 corresponding well to the K-Index of 2 at that time. K-index was quite high and yet I was hearing the Fairbanks stations for the first time at Grayland so other factors were at play.
