MBARC QRP CONTEST 2007
1. DATE: February 1 - 28, Time: 0000 - 2359 Local Time
2. PARTICIPATION: Members of the MBARC radio club
3. Work anybody on CW in alloted bands for your license privileges. You can work
FMCW on 2 meter simplex or the Sumas repeater after Sunday evening net until
8:45 pm. You might want to make it a 2 meter contest if you are a Tech Class.
4. CATEGORIES of <1 watt, or <5 watts
5. ANTENNAS can be wire or verticals
6. AWARDS for most contacts
7. AWARDS for most distant contact
8. MULTIPLIERS: x1 if using <5 watts, x2 if using <1 watt, total contacts x2 if using homebrew
or kit xcvr like a Tuna Tin, Rockmite, HiMite, Heathkit, Norcal, Elecraft, TenTec, etc.
9. YOU ARE ENCOURAGED to set up schedules with other Hams to get them on the air.
10. EXCHANGE for entries should be Name, Report (599), QTH, plus Band, Mode, Date, Time
11. Encourage Participation and Rag Chewing whenever possible to promote the contest.
12. Send Logs to contest chairman, Stan Schmidt, within 1 month of the end of the contest.
