I am Mauro and i living in Rovereto (Trentino). I started in early '70 as Short Wave Listner. My first licence call was i3QBR ('75) . With the new Call Areas rules i become IN3QBR ('80). For work reasons  abroad resident for seven years i was. In this period never I stopped my interest for the radio and I operated from Nigeria,El Salvador ,Colombia , USA .I am returned in Italy in 1988, but never I stop traveling.  I participated to some Dx expedition  in Cambodia, Laos, Burma.

In the world of the radio there is always something to do.  I amuse myself in the construction of accessories for my station and  antennas. I interest myself also of digital technologies.  I realized IR3SB packet node that, for over ten years, covers  part of North Italy area linking to Austria Germany and Switzerland.. The node  installed at 6500 ft.asl  is fed to solar cells.

I enjoy in Dx and Contesting I work mostly in cw,but you can listen to me also in phone,sometime in teletype
Usually i am on the air early in the morning at 06,00 gmt. I am active from 160 to 6 meters warc included
I operated with the following call I3QBR(75-80), IK3QBR(77), IY3QBR(78), IO3QBR(86) IN3QBR(>80)
I carried out significative portable operation like IN3QBR/ SV5 ,GW ,LX ,EA6 ,IH9 ,DL .
For three years during the contest I used IR3Z call (2000,2001,2002)
I hold K7QB , XU7AAZ, XW3QBR, XY3QB callsign.
I hold but i never used 7P8QB A25QB callsign.
I was WRTC  competitor  at  San Francisco  using W6C .
I am one of IH9P Multi/Multi contest team in CQWWDX SSB (98,01,02)
I am member of ARI ARRL QCWA DIG ISSB AGCW
