I have alway been in "ah" of large antenna systems , whether they are on towers or mounted on a large base.

SETI@home is a scientific experiment that uses Internet-connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). You can participate by running a free program that downloads and analyzes radio telescope data.

Data from the Arecibo Radio Telescope is automatically sent to your computer and, when you are not using your computer (Screen saver is on), it automatically processes the data looking for "ET".  When it is complete, it sends back any findings and downloads the next block of data.  You can be part of this search by downloading the program from  SETI at   http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/
