Information on other classes being held in the Seattle area can be obtained from http://www.mikeandkey.org/education.htm. This web site also contains information about other VE-exam locations when you are ready for your license or license upgrade.

 

 There is a Free Ware program which many of us have found useful in learning and upgrading our Morse Code. This program is Super Morse by Lee Murrah, WD5CID. A link is provided here for downloading this program. Since you are looking at this from within the Boeing Network, I will remind you to download this to a floppy and use it with your computer at home. Also, since it is a program written to run in DOS, it works best in that mode or with as little as possible other programs running.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
     

Code Practice
      Code practice sessions are currently being held by the Federal Way Amateur Radio Club on their 147.04+ Repeater. Sessions run on Sundays from 7:00 to 7:30 PM and 8:00 to 8:30 PM (before and after their club net) and on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. Code tones are sent over the repeater and require no special equipment to listen and practice.
