Information Linking Systems Other Repeaters

The BEARS Repeater is located on Tiger Mountain 20 miles east of Seattle at 2700 feet. The repeater frequency is 145.33 MHz and a CTCSS Tone is required. Tone information is not available over the repeater, but is available from control operators or the Evergreen Intertie handout. The repeaters normal coverage is the greater Seattle Area by handheld radio and from Everett to the north, Olympia to the south, and east past North Bend for mobile stations.

The repeater is linkable to other repeaters in the Evergreen Intertie System which extends from Seattle, to Portland, OR in the south, and east to Billings, MT.

There are 2 other K7NWS repeaters in the Seattle Area: on 224.34 MHz and 442.075 MHz, both also requiring CTCSS tones. All the club repeaters are now located on West Tiger Mountain.
