Hello and thanks for dropping by! First, let me tell you a little about
myself and my family. I live in the town of Sandy, Utah with my lovely
wife Debbie. Sandy is approximately 20 miles south of Salt Lake City.
We have two sons. John, the oldest, lives in California and Matt, W7MAT
who lives here with us in Sandy. Oops, almost forgot, my name is Bob!!
I received my first ticket back in 1968. I was 16 then and was given the
call WN2EWC. I later upgraded and got the WA2EWC callsign. Other
calls I have held were HL9UU and DA2KA while serving in the military
and also KM6YJ while living in California. Although very active in the 70's
and 80's, I only recently renewed my interest into this fine hobby. My
son getting his license this year may have had a little something to do
with that!!! Most of my operating time is spent chasing DX on the HF
bands. I mainly use CW but I do like an occasional SSB contest and I also
enjoy participating in Field Day!
