My name is Tim Wright, and I am located on Whidbey Island,
(IOTA #NA065),
in the state of Washington. We are in Oak Harbor,
which is approximately 90mi
North of Seattle.
I have been a ham for about 10 years now, and was originally licensed
as
KE6BCN, in California. I changed my call to K7BJB when we moved
to Whidbey
Island in 2000. My main interest is HF.
You can find me most often on 10m,
but I also enjoy 15m,
17m, and 20m, with an occasional afternoon/evening
spent on 40m!
I also work a little 6m DX when it is open.
I am currently trying to QSL to confirm WAS, and also DXCC. Turn-around
time on a QSL card sent to me is generally very short, and I usually return
cards received via the bureau the same day. For DX stations, the bureau is fine,
as is direct, whichever you prefer.
This is my first attempt at a web page, so please bear
with me! There will
be more to come as time goes by,
so check back again! I hope to see you
soon on the bands!
73,
Tim
